All about Fishing and Fishing Charters
The most popular and the most enjoyable activity for recreation or sport, all over the world, is fishing, while some people are practicing such activity as their way or method of gaining profit and income. Fishing is basically the practice of trying to catch fish, and there are various techniques that are being introduced and practiced by fishermen, and examples for that are angling, netting, hand gathering, spearing and trapping. The term used by the fishermen that refers to the equipment and items that they are using in the act of fishing is tackle, and the most commonly used includes floats, rods, sinkers, baits, lures, reels, tackles boxes, waders, nets, gaffs, traps, lines and hooks. Fishermen are being called in various ways and those depends on the reason as to why they are practicing such act, and they are using various kinds of techniques, such as commercial fishermen for gaining profit or income, recreational fishermen for pleasure or sport, and artisanal fishermen for their own survival.
Recreational fishing is similar to sport fishing, and it is done for pleasure or for competition, and basically, applications of laws, restrictions, conventions, rules and licensing are being used which can limit the practice of these fishermen of catching fish, and those are with the use of hooks, rods, baits or lures like artificial flies, reel, and line. Angling is the act of fishing with the use of hooks, and the fishermen are expected and required to return the fishes that they have caught to the water, such as in the sea, water or lake, and this act is called as catch and release. Another term for sport fishing is game fishing, and the acquired reward for such fishing activity is the challenge of finding and catching some of the most common species of fish, such as tarpon, shark, sailfish, mackerel, tuna and marlin. Fishing vessels is a water vessel which can be a type of boat or ship designed for fishing, and the common examples for these fishing vessels are rafts, pontoon boats, dinghies, cruising yachts, cabin cruisers, charter boat, kayaks and dugout canoes, and that are being used by the fishermen to catch the fishes in sea, lakes or rivers. The charter boat is the most commonly used water vessel of the fishermen and they are being rented, leased and hired by the people, vacationers or recreational fishers for private or exclusive purposes, and this act is called as fishing charter.
